Mal commenced his Shamanic studies in 2005 in the Sweet Medicine SunDance Tradition and was quickly drawn to the joy and vibration of song. As a graduate of the Red Lodge program and in his role as a Drum Chief, Mal continues to engage with and celebrate the many varied events within the Sweet Medicine Community both here in Australia and internationally. Mal has lead public and ceremonial gatherings for 10 years in this tradition and is now a core drummer for annual high ceremonial events in North America.
